Privacy policy
Jumping Jak for iPhone. Last updated October 11, 2026.
Jumping Jak is a game by JAK. This policy explains how version 1.0 handles information in the game. For questions, contact contact@jak.art.
What the game stores
The game stores your gem balance, collected and selected characters, scores, reward history, and settings locally on your device. A local recovery copy helps preserve this progress if the game's display process is interrupted.
This progress is not uploaded to JAK. There is no player account, public leaderboard, cloud game service, or cross-device progress synchronization in version 1.0. Your operating system may include app data in device backups according to your own Apple settings.
What we collect
The game does not send gameplay or personal data to JAK. It does not include advertising, analytics SDKs, third-party tracking, or purchases. It does not request access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, or photo library.
Gameplay, artwork posters, and optional artwork animations are bundled with the app. Opening or playing an artwork card does not download the original from an external website.
Support messages
If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, message, and optional screenshots. We use it to answer your request and diagnose the reported problem, not for advertising or selling your information. Share only what is needed. Please do not send passwords, wallet keys, financial details, or unrelated personal information.
Support correspondence is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to resolve and document the request, or where a legal obligation requires retention. Contact us to request deletion of support correspondence.
External links and Apple services
Links to JAK's website, artwork records, and support open outside the game. Those websites may receive ordinary technical information when you visit them and are governed by their own privacy policies. See the existing jak.art privacy policy. Apple's App Store, diagnostics, and device-backup services are governed by Apple's policies and your Apple settings.
Children
The game does not collect information from players, including children. There are no social messaging features, advertisements, cash purchases, or accounts. Younger players should play with a parent or guardian. The App Store listing provides the content age rating.
Your choices
You can play offline, leave animations paused, and adjust the game's sound and motion settings. To remove the game's locally stored progress, delete the app and its data using iOS settings. Offloading the app is different and may retain data. Deletion can permanently remove earned gems, collected characters, and scores; progress is not stored on a JAK server for later recovery. Device backups may retain separate copies under your Apple settings.
Updates
If the game's data practices change, we will update this policy and its revision date. We will not describe new collection as part of version 1.0 without updating the game and its disclosures.
